Materials Research for next-generation batteries

Date:2024年12月06日 16:53Visits:

Our lab focuses on the research of next-generation battery materials, particularly in the fields of lithium metal batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and solid-state batteries. For lithium metal batteries, we explore how to improve their cycling stability and safety, studying the mechanisms of lithium metal deposition and dendrite growth, as well as the impact of interface engineering on battery performance. In the case of sodium-ion batteries, we focus on the bulk and interfacial degradation mechanisms of electrode materials, aiming to overcome challenges related to their capacity and stability. For solid-state batteries, we are dedicated to optimizing the interfaces between solid-state electrolytes and electrode materials to enhance ion conductivity and overall energy density. By gaining a deeper understanding of the key material characteristics and reaction mechanisms in different battery systems, our goal is to drive the development of high-performance next-generation battery technologies.
